To improve and maintain the quality of life and education for orphans and needy children ages 0-10 in western Kenya.
The Rev. KIM Foundation was started in order to meet a community need in and around the township of Muhato in western Kenya. Due to the amount of poverty, lack of birth control and high occurrence of HIV in Kenya, there is an exceedingly high number of orphans, both real and financial. Many children have living parents who simply cannot afford to provide them the basic necessities of life. Thus, the goal of the Rev. Kim Foundation is to provide food, shelter, health care and education for these children.
