For those wishing to have a working/travel adventure, one to six weeks in western Kenya can be an extremely rewarding experience. Initially, help will be needed in getting the children’s facilities up and running. This will involve constructing buildings, greenhouses and animal shelters, like chicken coups and goat enclosures. It will also include a considerable amount of planting trees and setting up gardens.
Once opened, there will be even more opportunities to help out, including working with the children. This need will give those wanting a longer commitment the chance to teach or help provide health and nutritional care.
